It’s often easy to spot your brand evangelists. You see their retweets, blog comments, and status update comments. Sometimes they post directly onto your Facebook page with something interesting or they share your content.

As you set up your listening tools, you will begin to see even more about what people are saying about you, your brand, and your industry online.

It would be wonderful to have enough time to validate each and every fan for your brand, but once you get to a certain point online, there are more cool people to chat with than the time that you’d like to spend chatting with them. After all, there are lots and lots of people online!

Savvy online reputation managers identify their most influential brand promoters by looking through the blogosphere, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+, for starters.
