Abstract
Exploration and development of oil and gas in the beach/shallow sea, is different from inland, sea and desert. This paper focuses on the experience of China in exploration and development of oil and gas in beach/shallow sea field. It starts by presenting the characteristics of marine environment, engineering geological and technical equipment in the beach/shallow sea. It then explains that the seawall and artificial island are the effective methods in oil and gas exploration and development of beach/shallow sea area.
