Foreword

IBM® DB2® first shipped to customers in 1983. We have delivered 12 new releases since then, and most customers who now have z/OS® also have DB2 UDB for z/OS. With that degree of success, we began to focus more and more on helping existing customers move from release to release. Some time ago, we added DB2 Release Planning Guide and DB2 What's New? books to our library to show the new function for each release.
