Earning more advanced certifications
After you pass exam 700 and earn the IBM Certified Database Associate - DB2 UDB V8.1 Family certification, you can deepen your skills and earn more advanced certifications.
Passing exam 700 is a prerequisite to the more advanced certifications in the DB2 Universal Database certification series. Passing exam 512: DB2 UDB V7.1 Family Fundamentals also covers the prerequisite requirement. Table B.2 lists the additional DB2 UDB certifications and requirements.
