Office provides more than 600 reusable software components (objects) for you to use in your custom solutions. These objects are the “bricks” out of which you will create the functionality required by your clients. You must know what components are available and how to use them if you are to program effectively and efficiently. That's what you'll learn in this section of the book.

Obviously, I cannot cover all 600+ Office components. Fortunately, this is not necessary to give you a good start as an Office developer.
