Using the PivotTable Control

The PivotTable control is designed to analyze and summarize data. It is a dynamic control in that the user can control how the data is viewed. The data that is displayed by a PivotTable will usually come from an ADO data source or another of the Office Web components (such as the DataSource control). To get a feel for what the PivotTable can do, I recommend that you work with the control in an Excel spreadsheet and experiment with the different ways it can represent data.
