Chapter Eight. Using PowerPoint Components

The PowerPoint application is designed for creating presentations that consist of a series of pictures, or slides, each containing charts, text, graphics, and other visual elements. A presentation can contain sound and animation, and you can also use PowerPoint to create handouts and notes to accompany a presentation. From the perspective of the VBA programmer, PowerPoint will most often be automated to create new presentations, to create and design new slides, and to run slide shows.
