When you develop custom Office applications, most of your work will be done using the VBA editor, which is an integral part of Office. Before you can get started learning the details of the VBA language, you need to know your way around the editor. Despite its name, the VBA editor is much more than a simple text editor and provides many features and tools to make your job as a developer all the easier. In this chapter, I'll show you how to use the editor and most of its tools. Some of its features, such as debugging tools, will be covered in later chapters.
