8.7. Working with the Report Center

The Report Center is a site definition found in the Enterprise template group installed by MOSS 2007. While most people will probably implement the Report Center from their top-level site, you can create it as a subsite under any other site.

The Report Center serves as a central location for storing many of the document types previously discussed, including Excel-based reports, lists, connections to data sources, and document libraries of many types. It supports all the page templates you have already seen and the web parts already discussed, including the Excel web part.
