8.5. Using the Excel Page Web Part

Viewing an Excel workbook from a SharePoint library either in the browser using Excel Services or by downloading and opening it in a local copy of Microsoft Excel provides a quick way to view the spreadsheet. However, it does not let you include the workbook with other SharePoint features. Fortunately, SharePoint provides a web part that allows you to include an Excel workbook or portion of a worksheet inside any web page.

Suppose you start with a simple web page such as the one shown in Figure 8-14. In this page, you want to add an Excel spreadsheet to the Left web part zone to display the interest paid calculator created in the last section.
