12.4. Summary

In this chapter, you examined three supporting SharePoint libraries. The first library, the Records Center, is the most complex library implementation presented in this book, although it starts from the basic document library. It requires coordination between at least two different sites, a working document site and an archival site, with libraries in each using content types, site columns, and configuration settings made through SharePoint's Central Administration site. However, it provides organizations with a powerful tool to archive documents to protect their most important information.
