6.8. Summary

In this chapter, you saw how to use Access to work with SharePoint lists. You began by performing simple tasks to export SharePoint lists to Access and to publish Access tables to SharePoint. You learned that by linking lists from SharePoint to Access, you could edit data from either platform. Furthermore, within Access, you could build forms to edit the linked tables. You also looked at using multivalued fields, a new and controversial feature to Access, as it violates the first rule of data normalization—to keep all data fields atomic.
