Changing the Current Template

Whether you use a blank page size or a preformatted template, you still use a template to build your publication. You have the option to change the template for the current publication. This can be tricky, particularly if you have already established objects such as text boxes and pictures on the pages of the publication. There is no risk, however, because if you choose to apply a new template to the current publication, Publisher can create a new publication based on the change in template; the current publication is unaffected. In fact, you can then decide whether you want to save the new publication and continue to edit it, or discard it and return to your original publication.
