Creating Email Rules

You can automate management of your Mail folder using Outlook rules. A rule can delete, flag, or move messages. For example, a rule can be used to automatically move messages in the Inbox from a particular sender to a particular mail-related folder. This can help you keep organized, particularly if you need to place mail from a particular sender in a folder other than the Inbox. Although rules can’t necessarily be considered a security feature, they do give you control over the disposition of the email messages that you receive.
