Creating a Custom Slide Show

The Slide Show tab has an option for creating a custom slide show. The Custom Slide Show command enables you to take a subset of your current presentation and designate it as a custom show. This means that you can create shorter presentations from the contents of a lengthy presentation. For example, you might have given a two-hour presentation at a conference and now want to break the presentation into two one-hour custom shows that you can give as lunchtime seminars. You can create any number of custom shows from a single PowerPoint presentation.
