Adding Transitions to Slides

Transitions give you another effect type to add visual interest and perhaps even a little excitement to your PowerPoint presentations. When you show a slide show of a presentation that does not contain any slide transitions, you are doing what is called a straight cut in film terminology. The change from the current slide to the next slide is abrupt and can be jarring to the audience. There is no visual buffer between the content of the two adjacent slides.
