Creating Workbooks and Worksheets

We already discussed the new Excel Start screen, which is designed to let you either start a new workbook or quickly open an existing workbook. In terms of creating a new workbook, you can use the blank workbook template and build a new workbook from scratch. The alternative to building a workbook from scratch is building a workbook based on one of the many workbook templates that are provided by Excel and the template library at Office.com.
