Formatting with Themes

Giving a document a uniform look when you are working with different colors (including font, border, and shading colors), fonts, and text effects can be somewhat difficult. And in some situations, you want the color and font schemes in a Word document to match an accompanying Excel worksheet or PowerPoint presentation. Keeping a document’s appearance consistent, particularly when you have used some special formatting attributes, is best done using themes. A theme is a collection of colors, fonts, paragraph settings, and text effects. The Themes gallery provides many different themes, and you can modify existing themes to create your own themes.
