Using Find and Replace

Often, when you're editing a document, you need to find specific text quickly. You can do this using the Find feature. Other times, you may need to replace specific text with other text. You can do this using the Replace feature.

In Word, Excel, and in Outlook's message windows, you access the Find and Replace features primarily through the Find and Replace dialog box, which lets you switch quickly between these two useful features. PowerPoint has a Find dialog box and a Replace dialog box that appear separate but are in fact different manifestations of the same dialog box.
