Summary

In this chapter, you learned the best way to format your documents quickly and consistently—by using styles. You now know how to apply styles, how to create custom styles with exactly the look you need, and how to modify existing styles. You can also apply direct formatting where it's needed, and you can navigate quickly through your documents by using the Navigation pane.

In the next chapter, I'll show you how to add headers, footers, tables, and columns to your documents. Turn the page when you're ready to start.
