Editing Worksheets and Applying Formatting

In this chapter, I'll show you how to lay out your worksheets and apply formatting to them.

First, we'll cover how to insert, delete, and format rows and columns so that your worksheet's data appears the way you want it. You'll learn how to insert and delete cells, set row height and column width, and hide columns and rows you don't want to see.

Next, we'll go over formatting cells and ranges. You'll meet the three main tools for applying formatting; learn how to control the way data appears by applying number formatting; and format a workbook using a theme, alignment, font formatting, and borders and fills.
