Figure A.1.1 gives sizing metrics to collect as part of scoping and risk assessing your project. Adjust the questions for your organisation – for instance, the number and names of sites. Ask relevant knowledgeable staff to research the figures now, and to guess where possible the equivalent figures in five years’ time.

For some numbers, the most important distinction is one versus more-than-one (rather than the exact value). For instance, single currency versus multi-currency or single-language screens versus multi-lingual.
