About the Technical Editors

Douglas Williams received B.S.E.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Rice University, Houston, Texas, in 1984, 1987, and 1989, respectively. In 1989, he joined the faculty of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, where he is currently an Associate Professor. There he is also affiliated with the Center for Signal and Image Processing and teaches courses in signal processing and telecommunications.
