Reviewing the Installation Log
Once the installation process completes, the Finished panel appears, as shown in Figure 2-9.

This panel includes a link to the installation log, which is an in-memory transcript written to the install disk just before rebooting. If you click this link, a scrolling window of logged activity appears, similar to what’s shown in Figure 2-10.
