Identifying Pre-installation Tasks
Circling back to the installation prerequisites mentioned earlier, you should list four tasks when asked to name the key parts of the pre-installation process. There’s a fifth, however, that will serve you well to remember and is the last item included on this list:
1. Identify system requirements.
2. Identify installation requirements.
3. Identify networking options.
4. Check device drivers.
5. Review documentation and release notes.
Let’s review these one at a time. They’re not rocket science, but in preparing for the exam, sometimes the trick is knowing how simple the answers to some questions should be.
