Using the Data Recovery Advisor
In an attempt to further simplify recoveries, Oracle introduced the Data Recovery Advisor (DRA ) in Version 11g. The DRE is a framework that is integrated into the Automatic Diagnostic Repository (ADR ) that we learned about in Chapter 6, Managing the Oracle Instance. The DRA can provide a streamlined interface for database recovery using either a command-line interface or Enterprise Manager. However, there are a few requirements of which we must be aware.
