The number of materials that can be used for light diffusion, reflection, or modification is bounded only by your creativity and imagination. Once you start looking, you will find items everywhere that can reflect and diffuse light in unique ways. Whenever you find an interesting material, you should try to take a picture of the effect it creates. Keep a scrapbook of these effects for later use.
