Guerilla filmmakers are a special breed of dreamers and idealists and geniuses and romantics. They overcome seemingly insurmountable odds almost every day. When I work on guerilla films, I see a plenty of ambition, inventiveness, and determination. Often missing, though, is proper equipment and professional technique. I wrote this book to help remedy this situation.

Most books that describe low-budget moviemaking either provide mostly inspirational anecdotes or they focus on writing scripts, handling actors, planning shooting logistics, camera selection, and so on.
