February 2, 2010. Groundhog Day. People assembled at a morning festival to greet the furry squirrel and if it came out of hiding, spring would arrive early that year. Little did we know there were at least 20 prognosticators; 13 of them predicted a shortened winter. The famous one, Punxsutawney Phil, which is featured in the Bill Murray movie, was one of the seven dissenters.
