Here are more details about the how the NOOK handles multimedia files: It can handle MPEG-4 Simple/Advanced Profile up to 1920 × 1080 pixels, and H.263 up to 352 × 288. It can also play H.264 Baseline/Main/High Profile up to 1920 × 1080 pixels, and WEBM VP8 up to 640 × 480 pixels.
