A font family contains all the related fonts with the same design characteristics and the same name.

figure space

A space that is the same width as a lining figure (number).

finial

The tapered, curved end of a stroke not ending in a serif (c, e). Also a variation of a letter for use as the last letter in a line.

first-line indent

The indent of the first line after you hit Return or Enter.

fleuron

A typographical ornament, often leaf or flower shaped.

flush left

Text aligned on the left.

flush right

Text aligned on the right.

folio

A page number.
