Summary

In this chapter, we covered a lot of things related to the Google Maps API and the Geospatial query on MongoDB, and built a full store locator application using Node.js and a few default Express modules.

We covered such important points as the GeoJSON file format and how to create geospatial indexes on MongoDB.

This chapter closes a series of five chapters covering MVC design patterns using different template engines and techniques. In the next chapter we will see how to build a Node.js API using some different tools to create and test the API.
