Summary

In this chapter, we built a complete Node MVC application for file upload of images and videos; we also set up a user session with e-mail and password authentication, storing the encrypted password on MongoDB.

In addition, this chapter enabled you to build modular, robust, and scalable MVC applications.

Also, we used very common features across web applications, such as access to the database, sign-in and sign up, and file upload.

In the next chapter, we will see how to manipulate and upload images using a cloud service and store metadata on MongoDB.
