There is no such thing as reality, only the meaning that you give to it, which is dependent upon your past experiences, attitudes, values, beliefs etc. When the frame changes then the meaning changes with it. How you think about a situation determines your behaviour, which in turn, affects your outcome. You can use reframing to help yourself in difficult situations and you can also use it to help take the emotion out of situations for other people by offering an alternative perspective.
