Using the Retouch menu options
With the D90's large, bright, 3-inch 920,000-dot VGA LCD monitor, you can view your images and even use the in-camera editing features that allow you to save some time in post-processing and gives you the option to fine-tune your images for printing without ever having to download your images to a computer. Nikon has upgraded the Retouch menu with some exciting new options that weren't available on previous cameras, such as the straighten, distortion control, and fisheye options. With all these post-processing tools built right into the camera, it's entirely possible to do all your image adjustments (including RAW image processing) from start to finish, connect the camera to a PictBridge-enabled printer, and then print. This encompasses your entire workflow without even touching a computer!
The Nikon D90 offers three ways to view your images while the memory card is still inserted in the camera. You can view the images directly on the LCD monitor on the camera, you can hook your camera up to a standard TV by using the Nikon EG-D2 audio/video cable that's included in the box, or you can connect the camera to an HDTV or HD monitor by using a separate cable that you can buy from your local electronics store.
