Photography is all about light, and cameras are our light-capturing machines. When a camera clicks, its sensor is exposed to light. Sometimes the image can be too light, sometimes too dark. Determining the proper exposure is the key to becoming a good photographer.
In this chapter we will take an in-depth look at the three governing factors of exposure: ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. I’ll also go over Manual mode, and I’ll share some tips on how to quickly and easily figure out the best exposure for night photography.
