Afterword

We wrapped up this book on a crisp April morning. It was a lot like any other day in the life of a web writer. We passed emails back and forth, collaborated on a draft, talked about open questions, renamed a few things, and revised sentences that weren’t reading well. We went through each section of each chapter until it felt close enough.

And that’s what we hope you’ve gleaned from this book. To think of writing as a process. To read your work aloud and talk about it with someone who cares as much as you do. To ask questions of yourself and your colleagues. To check in with your feelings as you write. To consider your voice and watch your tone. And to put your readers first.
