Using the Solver Add-In
Solver is an Excel Add-in. In very simple terms, it is a software tool for solving mathematical systems of equations for optimizations. This part of the book does not attempt to teach the mathematical aspect of using the solver. It shows you how to use the solver for three different applications. The first case is when you want to use the Goal Seek, but you want to have more than one changing cell or decision variable. The second case demonstrates how to use it for a linear optimization problem and the last case is for a nonlinear optimization problem.
