A follow-up survey is essential if you really want to know the value of your new employee orientation program. Survey new employees approximately 90 days after they started with the organization. After being on the job three months, they have settled into a routine and are more comfortable with the organization and their team members. The new employees are then in a much better position to reflect on what they learned in the orientation program and how that information has helped them adjust to their new environment.
