Participant Materials

Printed materials are an important element of a new employee orientation program. Each participant should receive a three-ring binder with the following materials and corresponding tab dividers:

  • mission, vision, values

  • organization history

  • organization structure

  • products and services

  • employee handbook

  • resources and contacts

  • helpful information

  • “fun stuff.”

Some of the information will already be in the binders when they are distributed to the participants at the beginning of the program; other materials will be added throughout the program.

It’s also a nice touch to include organization mementos, such as logo pens, pins, mugs, and product samples. You might include the annual report, brochures, and maps. Create a fun, practical, ...
