Software-Defined Storage

Abstract

SDS is a completely new way to construct storage networks. Using virtualization techniques as a base, much of the processing of data that storage systems do today moves into the virtual cloud in the server farm. This allows new approaches to building storage networks that promise a great deal of innovation.
