About the Author

Mani Subramanian is a Chair Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Madras where he teaches courses on Network Management and Broadband Communication Systems. He is also the Director of NMSWorks Software Solutions Private Ltd., Chennai, India. He initiated a network management program at Georgia Institute of Technology in 1996, where he is presently on the Adjunct Faculty. The first edition of his book, published in 2000, is currently adopted as a textbook in over fifteen countries and translated into Chinese for Higher Education in China.
