Phase 4. Troubleshooting the Network

In this phase, many of the tools available to a network administrator during troubleshooting are presented. The utilities and protocols you will use in phase 4 as you enhance your troubleshooting skills are ARP, NETSTAT, FTP, ping, IPCONFIG, trace route, Telnet, and nslookup.

Additionally, you get to practice with a protocol analyzer for a much closer look at the traffic on your network. Finally, you will take a look into the event logs of your computer to find out how to monitor those events that matter most during day-to-day operation.
