Just don't spring a new NAC solution on users on a Monday morning, with full enforcement invoked, because it could be a difficult day, for the user, the helpdesk, the NAC deployment teams, and the organization as a whole!

NAC is ubiquitous. It touches many different areas and components of the network, various teams throughout the organization, and every user. It affects every area of the network:

  • NAC will not work if an organization, network, or environment is not ready for it or prepared for how NAC works.

  • A NAC solution will not work if dictated as a mandate to employees that it be used.

It's up to you and your organization, including users, and specifically to any team involved in NAC solution deployment, use, and adoption, the level of success a NAC deployment can enjoy.
