17.4. Gartner NAC Marketscope
The Gartner NAC Marketscope is an impartial review of the major vendors competing in the NAC space. Updated periodically (and likely to be replaced soon by a Gartner Magic Quadrant), this document describes the vendor approaches to NAC and assesses them both on their execution or current offerings, and on their future vision and roadmap, as provided by the vendors to Gartner.
Although you have to pay to access both this document and the Forrester Wave (discussed in the following section), they're well-respected industry publications used by many customers in a variety of industries. In addition, some vendors have gone through the expense of purchasing reprint rights for these publications, so you might be able to get a freebie!
