Summary

In this chapter we explained the ASP.NET security in detail. We looked at most of the major .NET classes involved in ASP.NET security programming and at several programming examples that demonstrate how to implement authentication, authorization, and impersonation in ASP.NET applications. In the upcoming chapter we will see the highlights of the Web services security.
