And now for something new in our science. Yes, the elephant is in the room, but most people simply were not aware—organizational nepotism. This is a refreshing and welcome volume. A topic that probably is talked about but not researched enough despite its prevalence in organizations. A quick perusal of our journals and textbooks will lead us to conclude that this topic is not really “mainstream” industrial–organizational (I–O) psychology. Hopefully, the research discussed in this volume will engage more scholars and practitioners to deal with this topic.
