When Scandic Hotels goes on the offensive to market itself as a hotel chain — not to be confused with a chain of hotels — with a big social commitment and a wish to be accountable, the suppliers are involved, whether they like it or not.
‘We outsource as many tasks as possible. For that reason we do not always have the key to the solution of a problem ourselves and thus we must convince our suppliers that it is a good idea,’ says the manager of environment and security issues of Scandic Hotels.
