Sources of External and Organization Scan Data

As a training professional, you have access to multiple sources of formal information. Ideally, you should interview regularly your main potential clients. How often (monthly, quarterly, yearly) is up to you and your potential clients, but you need to keep your finger on the pulse of their business. Areas to focus on include the client’s department mission, departmental strategies, operational goals, plans and objectives, and stated wants and needs.

In the course of your work, make an effort to keep up with such external and internal sources as
