In order for the Web front end of Nagios to function, the Web server must know the CGI directory and the main Web directory. The following description applies to both Apache 1.3, Apache 2.0, and 2.2.
As long as you have not added a different address for the front end, through the
configure script with
-with-cgiurl, Nagios expects the CGI programs at the URL
/nagios/cgi-bin (actual directory:
/usr/local/na-gios/sbin) as well as the remaining HTML files below
/nagios (actual directory:
/usr/local/nagios/share). Nagios 3.0 includes its own
make target for the Web interface, which configures the directories and sets corresponding aliases for the two URLs:
